Faith - Family - Freedom

While serving in the US Army, it became apparent to me that these three areas - faith, family, freedom - are areas that we, no matter what nationality, race, color, or creed, must protect.

You see, at the end of the day, we must believe...

  • Who we are...
  • What we have been granted in this lifetime... and,
  • The freedoms we have been given as we live on this earth.

Let's unpack this.

Faith - I am a Born-Again Christian, or follower of Jesus Christ. I believe Jesus died to set me free from the things I was bound to and bound by. Now, I live freely in Him as I pursue everything He has called and created me to be in these seasons of my life. This is my faith in action.

What do you have faith in? What or who do you believe?

I'm not trying to convert you. I want to help you see that you must have faith in Someone or something in order for you to be able to move forward and be all you were created to be.

Do you believe in yourself? Do you have faith in the abilities inside of you? Do you believe you can overcome the stuff that has happened in life?

It's time for you to increase your faith. The Drill Sergeant of Life is here to help you do just that!

Family - In my 60+ years on the earth, I have learned that family is comprised of more than blood and DNA. In myhumble opinion, family is those people I connect with, and with whom I form a bond.

I especially learned while serving in the Army that I had many brothers and sisters who wore uniforms just as I did. Many years later, I now have many brothers and sisters who are Veterans.

Most importantly, though, I have found many brothers and sisters in Christ. God has bonded us together so we can stand together in Him and do the things He has created us all to do.

What is your definition of family? Are you surround with family as you read this? I am always willing to adopt more family members. Join The Drill Sergeant of Life Family. We are here to help you in every area and aspect of life.

Freedom - As a noun, freedom means: the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint. It also means the absence of subjection to foreign domination or despotic government; or, the state of not being imprisoned or enslaved. (Oxford Dictionary)

Freedom is something we all must pursue.

How many people do you know who are imprisoned in their minds and don't know how to be free?

There are people all around you who are imprisoned by something that causes them to not be able to see themselves in their true light, the light God created them to be in.

Are you imprisoned? Are you ready to be set free?

The Drill Sergeant of Life is here to help you...Be ALL You Can Be in the Army of Life! Stay tuned!
